(JUL 2021 #16 M4) This is a small leather (98mm x 69mm) address book given to those who attended the 1954 Walther League International Convention. The front shows an embossed impression showing a covered wagon pulled by a team of oxen under the word, "Addresses". The reverse has the impression which reads: "Walther League | Long Beach, Cal. | 1954".

(JUL 2021 #16 M5) This is a plastic shield-shaped (92mm x 63mm) name badge. It has the original hanger clip on the back. The front reads: "FIRST ANNUAL | FALL FESTIVAL | Oct. 22, 1978" over a circular logo for "Camp Okoboji" with "ΙΧΘΥΣ" at the center.

(JUL 2021 #16 M3) This is a plastic button (2 1/4" diameter) has an attached ribbon (5" long). The button is white with a blue rim. The upper legend is red and reads: "Camp Okoboji". The lower legend is a Christian fish surrounding the letters: "ΙΧΘΥΣ". The ribbon is blue with a golden legend: "SEVENTH ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL".

(JUL 2021 #16 M1) This is a felt patch (5 3/4" diameter) with black background behind a cob of corn which is overlayed with a golden diagonal swatch and a golden outer ring. It has the legend: "IT'S Iowa '56".

(JUL 2021 #16 M2) This is a triangular pennant (23" x 8") with a black background. On the wide end are two gold ties and a four-color Walther League logo. On the narrowing end is the golden legend: "CONVENTION | JULY 22-26 | AMES, IOWA | 1956".

Trinket. Walther League. Aluminum Washer, 1956

Scope and Contents

(JUL 2021 #16 M6) This is a small plastic bag (83mm x 70mm) containing a fake plumbing washer. The bag is stapled closed with an attached piece of heavy paper in the shape of Iowa. The paper has the following text in red: "You MAY TAG Iowa | for the convention | in 1956". The washer bears the text: "Another Maytag Aluminum Washer". This was probably made as a promotional giveaway to be handed out at the 1955 convention.
